We were fortunate enough to close out our Labor Day weekend with some boating and swimming on Lake Ontario. With a high-brow/low-brown picnic featuring PBR and quiche from Chrissy Beanz in Sackets Harbor, NY, we hit the water for one last cruise of the season. Our route took us by historic battlegrounds from The War of 1812, beaches filled with sunbathers pursuing a final bronze patina, and other boaters bobbing away a few last lazy hours.
A good swim in the shallows, a gentle breeze, and cotton ball clouds helped put our minds at ease as we waved goodbye to summer. --Red & Brown
