It's Holiday Cocktail Week here at Adventures in Red & Brown, where we're bringing you Christmas classics along with a few new variations to keep you in high spirits. Pour a couple out for you and yours, and get to wassailing.
This beer cocktail uses our Swedish Christmas syrup and some sweet, belly-warming port to put you in the holiday mood. Grab a spot by the fire and get comfy.
The Yule Log Makes 1 cocktail
1/2 ounce Swedish Christmas syrup 1/2 ounce port 7 ounces stout or winter ale (we made it both with Guinness and Sixpoint Global Warmer and they were equally delicious) 1/2 ounce Cynar (optional but if you love bitter cocktails like Brown it's a definite add-in)
In a tulip glass (or pint glass if you don't have one) add the syrup, port, and Cynar. Stir these together well.
Top with your beer of choice and give it a gentle stir to mix everything. Skål!
