wreath Whether you're traveling home for the holidays, trimming the tree, cooking old recipes, or just enjoying the season, we want to wish you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday, and a Happy New Year.

For us, we've only gotten power back hours ago. After trekking up to Brown's parents' home in the North Country of New York (very, very upstate) for Christmas, we were caught in a nasty ice storm that delayed some holiday plans and left us without Internet and most power. Undeterred, we spent the time listening to Christmas music, catching up, and drinking some holiday spirits. Most importantly (in Brown's opinion at least) Red began learning some of Brown's family recipes for Christmas cookies and sweet rolls.

If you need a little inspiration for Christmas, we have our recipes for holiday spirits and a music playlist full of classics.

We'll be back to blogging after the holidays, but are taking some time off to enjoy the company of our family and friends. If you just can't quit us, you can follow all of our of-the-moment happenings on Instagram and Facebook.

This has been an exciting beginning for us and we love that you've joined us for the ride and followed along. Thank you also to everyone that supported our first venture with our cocktail kit and AHeirloom (send us your photos, we'd love to see them).

Expect more good stuff to eat, drink, make, see and do in 2014. For now, warmest wishes for the holidays.
